Howard Zhang

Howard had served as our principal outside counsel since our inception before joining IDG Capital in 2024. Howard was a partner in the Boston office of a leading Boston firm and led the China practice of the Wall Street firm Davis Polk for more than 15 years. Howard was consistently ranked as a leading corporate M&A, venture capital and private equity lawyer by Chambers and worked on many of the most significant and transformative corporate transactions involving leading global companies. Howard pursued languages and political science in undergraduate and graduate studies in premier Chinese and U.S. institutions and received his JD Degree from Boston University School of Law. He is currently a member of Dean’s Advisory Committee of Boston University School of Law.
